Herges Capital Management, a limited liability company founded in 2013, aims to deliver positive absolute returns for its clients independent of the stock market’s performance. The Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA) does applying a robust rule-based futures trading program. The investment universe includes US Dollar denominated commodity, interest rate, equity index and currency futures.
The enterprise was motivated and preceded by years of private investment advice and successful portfolio management for friends and relatives.
Centre stage at Herges Capital Management takes the ever-improving service to our existing clients. We follow a holistic approach beyond simply aiming for positive returns.
Avoiding expenses contributes directly to improved net performance. We emphasize on bypassing or reducing cost.
As a Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA), this policy is realized first and foremost by trading through a highly cost-efficient global internet broker. In our role as registered Investment Advisor (RIA), we avoid altogether mutual funds and so-called structured products.
Investors are often aghast when on top of negative returns they still pay relatively high fixed management fees.
Herges Capital goes a different way. For our managed futures accounts we charge zero management fees but instead take a percentage of the profit generated, if any. Remuneration based solely on previously generated profits builds further trust between the firm and its clients. Both are really in the same boat.
Often individual investors and even small family offices are not fully aware of hidden cost (tax inefficiencies, high turnover rate, cash drag) in purchased investment products. Our mission is to provide a long-term general knowledge transfer if desired.
Herges Capital Management staff offers a multi-national and multi-lingual background. The firm aims to service clients worldwide, independent of their place of residence.
